Dr M Starts Own Blog
KUALA LUMPUR, May 1 (Bernama) — Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today joined the blogging community with his own blog accessible at www.chedet.com.
In its preface, Dr Mahathir said the site “is dedicated to publishing my writings as and when I am able to pen my thoughts and opinions.”
Introducing himself as the Malaysian prime minister from 1981 to 2003 in his “about me” column, his first article touched on the appointments of judges and the proposed Judicial Appointments Commission, which he posted at 1.27am today.
In it he said the appointment of judges is provided for in the Constitution and therefore if changes are to be made, the Constitution needs to be amended.
C.H.E. Det, was Dr Mahathir’s pseudonym for his articles submitted to the Sunday Times between 1946-1950, which mainly touched on Malay economic and political predicaments then.
Dr Mahathir, 82, has been known for his passion for writing and has written several books including the controversial Malay Dilemma published in 1970.
He now joins his daughter, Datin Paduka Marina who has been blogging a few years with her www.Rantings.com blog.

Terima kasih ckasih.
Lets call it x.
x is an unknown not because that its unknown but due to the fact that so many different definations given to it. So anybody can say anything about x. The real x is when its satisfy the mathematics and science explaining the attribute of x. Just as an example. So call it whatever, but the attributes define the real x.
Trinity, pagannisma, and many other words used by human carries the same basic arguement. Our grandfather came out to the world with a mouse he knew he had to eliminate due to the fact that it destroy his crops. Do we argue now his grandson borned to the world and was told there’s a mouse on the table in the computer’s room? and do the same.
Learning Arabic does not make you more Christian … or Muslim either. Arabic as with other languages are all human language, a tool for communicating ideas or meme by human. It doesnt have to be verval in fact, body language or sign language are as effective as well. If you have in mind Allah speaks Arabic, beware of being Sirkun, because you are saying He speaks the same language as human.
I hope you intentionally put your comments in response to D M issue, to highlight the fact that he is so open minded that, you can discuss any issues with him. He is so intelligent taht he can survive being our PM for the best 22 years of Malaysia. I dont mind that you hate him. So many people blame Allah for what happened, anyway.
Salam..
Baru saja bersembang dengan boss saya semalam. We have the same idea about learning and speaking in English. And as mentioned by you, English language is just a tool. Most books and literature are in English. How else can I learn about my subject (human milk & lactation) if I can not understand English?
And it does not make me less Melayu or more British. In fact, there are more people out there who speak very little English but their lifestyle are more Western than the Westerners! What with kening hitam tapi anak mata (contact lens) biru, the skirt is shorter than a mini skirt, and the list goes on.
Well, people can have whatever option that they want in life. But the best option is to have the best life in the afterlife. Strive for it. I am still striving.
Early bird catches worm … kesian early worm, Pukul 7:30 dah tulis, ni mesti di hujung atau pangkal dunia. Terima kasih melawat.
To have the best life in the afterlife means to enjoy the life before afterlife. If we are not able to enjoy in the herelife, it is actually difficult to enjoy the hereafter. I recond in the hereafter, we all speak one common language. We would be abe to understand the language of Allah, our former, as oppose to our creator (do not worry about the differences its leas to). From the study of Allah attribute (Sifat 20) Allah speaks to us (mahluk) all the times. No single atom or smaller the that even, moves without the command (communication) from Allah. Every event that occur requires Allah to commute His intention for it to happen. We would be able to understand this language once we are in the nearer dimension to Him. With the presence of our body, our soul (roh) is a prisoner and we exist in a lower dimension that make us unable to undertand His words. However if we are able to concentrate ourselves to be in the soul’s position, we would be able to understand the language of Allah.
He does not speaks Arabic, as claimed by Muslim (Muhammadian in fact, sorry to say), He does not speaks in the language of Jeasus, as to produce the original Injil, nor did He spoke the earlier languages of revelation, in order to present the erlier Kitab of Taurat and Zabur. He speaks His own language, of His own, differing in hakikat to any languages on Earth or Mars or the Universe.
We acknowledge the fact that cats and dogs communicate more universial than human. We accept the truth in the universiality of languages of mathematics, musics, to a certain degree the body language, but the evolution of present human languages, started from the same origin. As we have brains, our communication evolve we our needs. Cats and dogs wish they were given brains to our quality, to enable them to develop better languages.
What is language anayway? As you have agreed, its a tools. The needs for us to let others know what happening to us, around us and to enable us, as a social being, knowing what happening from others. That the key words. What happen when the massage to be convey, contains informations the other party never know, never had seen before and never experienced before. This is how difficulties arise when describing Allah’s zat, sifat dan perbuatan.
Salam..
Alhamdulillah, di pangkal dunia. Hari Jumaat hari yang indah :) I’ve read your (the above) comment. Indeed.
Fikir mendalam, degupan jantung hanya 60-90 kali seminit, pengaliran darah is a constant flow, meaning continuous. Ureka! Thanks.
What about the cotton things?
Salam..
Mana ye paragraf about the cotton tu? Rasa mcm dah baca, tapi bila cari balik tak jumpa pulak. Disoriented sungguh!
Anyway, I have to add a bit more comment about caught red handed dalam post Habit 5 in SIO’s website tu. Do you have an email add? Or if you aer reluctant to put it here, you could also email me at nazatulshiha@gmail.com and I will post my comment thru the email. TQ
Hubby, Wan rasa dah pasti. Semuga berbahagia sekeluarga.
Salam..
Skarang masih Dr.; Prof tu lambat lagi :) Anyway, memula tu, memang terfikirkan pasal heartbeat tu. Still an interesting way to remember Allah, sbb cara jantung tu berdegup, ada rhythm yang tersendiri, seolah – olah lagu zikir yang tak putus – putus.
Blood flow is continuous. Bila ada fat plug (atherosclerotic plug), maka flownya menjadi turbulent dan tak smooth lagi. Maka bermulalah segala jenis penyakit, hanya kerana that turbulance. Heart attack kerana itu. Stroke kerana itu. Indeed, turbulance is not good, even in normal daily life.
Dulu masa mula tarikat, mulakan dengan 33,100, 1000, 100k. Then I think, why should we count, esp using that tasbih-bead things, its in ourseif, the original counter, then we can bring it an where. Not like some Arabs, I saw in a casino (oh yes I did visit everywhere) so used to saying tasbih, that he has to bring along when playing roulette together with his gf? What a scene? and sin!
Anyway, if you are looking for pahala then do count them else if your are looking for His blessing, never count but flow them with every oxygen and effort we do. If we agree atoms are with us, we have to agree that his energy is always with us. Then? he knew better than us, the Star Wars producer “May the force be with us”
I found the flow method does not work well with me. I am so used with the rythm of my heartbeat during zikrullah, I have to revert back to my former method. I think you’re better than me in listening to the blood flow, but I preferred the heart beating. It more active and digital rather then analogue in blood’s flow.
Well at least you’ve tried :) I’m no better either.
About the Pak Arab and his tasbih (indeed, you’ve gone to so many places!), it shows that ritual can be difficult to get rid off, but it does not necessarily mean that it can prevent the person from doing kemungkaran. Bahana of doing something without thinking, or without ilmu.
